1963 Beatles release Please Please Me, despite George Martin wanting How Do You Do It to be the band's new single.
1965 US TV show Hullabaloo debuts on NBC (with Brian Epstein introducing the Zombies).
1968 The Supremes appear in an episode of the NBC-TV show, "Tarzan.", playing a group of nuns.
1975 Little Feat, the Doobie Brothers, and Graham and Central Station start a European tour.Little Feat establishes an adoring cult audience during the month-long tour.
1977 Keith Richards is fined £1000 for possession of cocaine found in his wrecked car. At the same court appearance, he is found not guilty of possession of LSD.
1977 "Long May You Run" an LP by the Stephen Stills/Neil Young band is certified gold. This isYoung's last professional collaborations with the other three, although Stills, David Crosy and Graham Nash will reunite serveral times in the years to come.
1979 Aynsley Dunbar replaces drummer John Barbata in Jefferson Starship, subsequently playing on single Jane.
